Clubfitting

Clubfitting - What are the advantages?

Golf is not a sport of power, but of kinetic energy: you make the difference not by hitting hard, but by developing the highest possible speed in that thousandth of a second when your club hits the ball. The faster and the more accurately you hit the ball, the better it is compressed.

So golf is elementary physics: the impact with the club head compresses and launches the ball. Due to the dimple pattern of the golf ball, the necessary lift is generated, and the ball flight carries a certain distance.

It is therefore important to maximise the impact. Besides correct swing technique, the right material ensures optimum efficiency.

A static determination of the player's morphology largely determines the 'dimensions' of the clubs. By adapting length, lie or grip thickness to the player's needs and wishes, optimal comfort and results can be achieved.

In a dynamic measurement, the optimal composition of club head, shaft and grip, for a specific player, is found through the experience of the fitter and using the latest fitting techniques. The fitter analyses a multitude of Trackman parameters to start determining the impact of one or more of the components on the efficiency, and therefore the result of the golf swing.

We pride ourselves on an enormous amount of options and fitting components. This makes hundreds to even thousands of different combinations possible.

We invariably assume a 'Multi-Brand-Fitting' here to ensure the best result for the customer.

A guided Trackman test (by appointment) costs 75,- euros. This amount will be deducted if you purchase the product i.e. result of this test, from us within two weeks after your test.

Trackman 4 - Dual Radar Technology

Thanks to Dual Radar technology, Trackman records exponentially more data, than its predecessors and competitors. The system now offers the user, thanks to its super precisely targeted high-resolution radar beams, the most detailed info on what happens to your club and balls at the moment of impact and afterwards. The huge number of measurements allows it to analyse your swing with unprecedented precision, and give you optimal fitting advice.
This club test gives instant feedback on the complete ball trajectory from launch to landing with awe-inspiring precision, considering ball spin and the specifications of your golf clubs, among other variables. The Trackman 4 shows you the full trajectory of your ball, swing after swing in nanoseconds - showing the precise landing position, and also instantly putting the entire trajectory in 3D on the screen, along with all impact and launch information.

The device is used worldwide for the equipment of tour pros and their coaches.

Trackman 4 - The Key parameters

Trackman 4 measures, among others, the following parameters, which allow our experienced fitters to make a correct analysis, and put together the best fitting equipment:

- the speed at which the club whizzed through the air
- The speed at which the ball took off
- the angle at which the club hit the ball
- the spin rate - or the intensity with which the ball spun
- the smash factor: the ratio between the speed of the ball and that of the club head
- the deviation of the ball to the left or to the right
- the distance covered by the ball
- Club Path and face angle: these both have the greatest effect on the shape of the ball flight.

And so much more...
The most important values are club speed, smash factor and spin rate.
