About us

Golf Center is a family business, founded in 1983 with the opening of our first shop in Wevelgem, West Flanders.

With its origins in the car industry and then the caravan industry, Golf Center was born at the insistence of a customer who played golf but couldn't find any equipment in Belgium. At the time, it was mainly imported from England.

This marked the start of a great adventure, attending the Orlando Golf Show every year and importing equipment from the United States. It wasn't long before the Wevelgem shop was stocking a wide range of brands, including Ping, McGregor, Ben Sayers and Mizuno.

In 1996, the second branch opened its doors in Wavre, in Walloon Brabant. Ten years later, the shop moved. Over the last two years, it has been extended and renovated, making the 2,500 m2 Wavre shop the largest in Europe. There's also a permanent outlet and two Trackman facilities.

The 1,500 m2 Wevelgem shop was completely renovated in 2015. There is a permanent outlet on the first floor, as well as two Trackman facilities for testing clubs.

Since 2020, we are also present in Stekene, in East Flanders, with a 500m2 shop. The space is fully occupied by a wide range of clothing, footwear and equipment, as well as a Trackman installation.

With our three shops, we have a very large stock, enabling us to offer you a very wide range. Transfers between shops take place on a weekly basis, so that the size and item you require is sent to the right shop for you within the week. We also buy from our suppliers every week to replenish our stock.

All three shops have their own car parks and are easily accessible.
